URL of Mobile APP?

Perhaps a simple question, but how to I find the URL of a mobile App so that I can create a login for the Vault .

@Ken Sharpe Sorry for the delayed response.

To create a login for a particular app,you can browse to a particular app's website - for instance Santander Mobile Bank  you can search on google in the integrated browser which comes with IDSafe app,i did the same and found this website > https://www.santanderbank.com/us/personal/banking/digital-banking/mobile-banking .Click on the link of the website and click login.

1. Enter the credentials, the integrated browser will autosave the login.

2. Now launch the Santander Mobile Bank app and click sign in / Login.

3. Will show IDSafe icon near the login fields, click the icon.It will ask "Do you want IDSafe to fill the login" on clicking "Yes" it will fill the corresponding logins of that app saved in the vault.

Alternative method :

1. Get the link of sign in page of the website and create a login inside the vault with the appropriate username-password.

2. Now launch the Santander Mobile Bank app and click the norton account and it should fill the saved details for the app.

For now these are two methods via which you can save logins for a app/website.We are trying to bring in the autosave feature for the apps, still in early stage.Hopefully we would bring in better User experience in the upcoming releases.

Even after saving the data for an app,if autofill for those apps didnt happen means, kindly give the app details and we would try to fix in the next release if possible.Thank you for reporting to us,hope we have given the necessary details that could solve the issue.

I have not used the feature fully, except to test.

As long as your app is listed, you just start up that app. At the sign in page, you enter your login information. When you tap to sign into the app, does Norton give the option to save the log in?

After that, the next time you open the app, tap on the Norton icon, and have it fill in the log in  info.

I do not have my test phone available right now, so please let me know if this works.

Again thanks for the info. But I still cannot see how  to log into any of the supported apps in the list you referred me to. Can you guide me through the method used. When I create a login the first thing it asks for is a URL ???

A couple of apps I was interested in were Santander Mobile Bankink & TSB Mobile Banking Apps

Logging into apps seems to be done differently than logging into a web site.

See the information I listed here. There is a link to a list of supported apps in that post.

As noted, I have not yet found a way to request new apps to be added to the list. If you let us know what app you are trying to use, we will try to get it added.

Hello again Ken.  As I said I have no experience of Norton Identity Safe so cannot comment on that.

But I can say that most Apps do not require a log in to start.

Hi,

Ok thanks for that i.e.mobile apps have no URL. So am I correct in saying you cannot include mobile apps in the Norton Identify safe as it asks you for a URL of the site when configuring a login.

Hi Ken Sharpe.

Welcome to the Norton Community Forums.

Sorry but I don't think I understand what you are trying to do.  Are you talking about using Norton Identity Safe (with which I have no experience)?

Mobile apps do not have URLs.  Mobile apps are downloaded from a site such as Google Play and then installed on the device.

What Mobile app are you thinking about and exactly what are you trying to achieve?
