As I use my machine in places where much content is censored and I am attempting to configure Firefox and TOR to run from a USB drive which I will encript later. NIS 2010 blocks the TOR installation. TOR is a trusted program designed by the government to provide internet access in places where political content is censored. Privoxy is also part of the bundle. Information on the software can be found here. http://www.torproject.org/index.html.en
My machine is a new Lenovo running Windows 7, 64 bit. Other than that, I can't think of anything particularly remarkable about this system, but I have to get on with this installation before leaving the States soon. Any help will be most appreciated.
It wouldIt would help if you would detail the precise messages you are receiving please. Otherwise nobody knows whether the “block” is a sonar issue or something else.
Thanks for the response. It was a sonar issue, but I’ll post more specifically.
If its Sonar issue, then did sonar quarantine the file and have you tried recovery? Otherwise, what happens if you change the sonar default settings?
I did nothing different, but the program loaded. ????
I'm a little confused, but satisfied. You have no idea how nice it is to have uncensored internet until you have had to deal with censorship. It is infuriating to have someone you don't know decide what is appropriate to view.
Thanks for your help. :-)
