User switching broken in 1.2.0.37

With the new 1.2.0.37 install, whatever user first logs into the computer, Safety Minder gets stuck on that account even after logging out and back in as another user.  For example...

1. Login as Child. Taskbar shield says account is monitored. Logout.

2. Login in as Dad. Taskbar shield says account is not monitored. BUT sites are still blocked according to Child rules and emails are sent saying Child went to a blocked site.

Conversely, after a reboot of the computer,

1. Login as Dad. Logout.

2. Login as Child. Taskbar shield says account is monitored, but no sites are blocked.

I've uninstalled and reinstalled.  On XP and Firefox 3.5. Firefox plugin is there (had to unstall/resintall to get it though).

I am having the same problem as the original poster.

I am running XP Pro SP 3 and Firefox 3.5.6

How do I fix it?

Thanks

Please update to the latest version 1.2.0.39, you can do this update manually (the automated release has not been completed yet). To update manually, just uninstall the current version and click the download link on onlinefamily.norton.com, that should be the latest version of Norton Safety Minder.

Let us know if this solves your issue.

Matt

That seems to have fixed it.

Thanks
