Using a Hotel Room Wireless Internet

Whenever I use a hotel's wireless internet, Norton Internet Security won't allow (or slowly loads) a webpage to load.  To get around this, I do the following;

1) Turn off Identity Safe

2) Turn off Browser Protection

3) Turn off Safe Surfing

4) Turn off Download Intelligence

5) Tell Windows 7 that I am on a 'Work Network'

Is this the correct way to do this?  It takes a while to get it running smoothly.  FYI - I am using NIS 21.7.0.11, Firefox 37.0.2, Windows 7 Pro

BTW - If any admins see this.  My account logon is acting weird again.  It won't allow me to logon.  So I send for a password reset, I open my email, I then reset my password TO THE SAME EXACT PASSWORD I had before. Why?
