Just reporting back as promised.
NIS2011 on the new PC has passed the expiry date for the trial version, with no messages or warnings displayed. Got an email from Norton telling me that the trial was about to expire, but I expected that!
My Norton Account shows the trial has expired and shows 3 out of 3 licenses in use for the 'old' version, expiry date Feb 20 2012. Norton front page shows 128 days remaining.
So all is well.
