using SSD to STORE images on Ghost Cast Server

I'm having a hilariously aggravating time wading through all the hits I get about imaging to an SSD looking for information on people using an SSD for a storage location for ghost images on a ghost cast server.

would there be any issues anyone can think of if I were to get 3 high speed SSDs in a raid 0 to store my image files for ghost casting?

currently I have a raid 0 with 3 SATA 10 000 RPMs and I want to know if I'll see a performance boost on deploying the image while ghost casting several different images simultaneously.

We also use a winpe script setup to install drivers and 3rd party software based on machine make/model on first boot which is all also stored on the server.

this is all read and very little writes, so I think SSDs would be ideal, but before I commit to a grand of new equipment I was wondering if anyone else has tried it.
