Utilities Error 6

So, I have Norton Utilities

I want to install it on a new computer

I can't because I get an Error 6 Message

Service here is horrid. I called support. The guy that troubleshooted seemingly barley knew how to execute items in a Win10 environment. After 30 minute of him fumbling around, he said I would get a call.

I get the next level call @10:34PM!!! What the hell is someone calling at 10:30 in the evening.

I see other people have had this issue, with the same results as I, but I couldn't comment because that thread was closed, unresolved.

I'll just deactivate my auto renewal. There are plenty of other products out there.

it is fix in the new update

BTW, the VPN doesnt work either. It doesn't allow me into any financial institution

Just an FYI. It is not the VPN blocking your financial sites. It is the other way around, Your financial institutions are blocking access from known VPN IPs.   Many web sites do not allow access from known VPN IP addresses. They do this for copyright, legal, security, and political reasons. There is nothing a VPN provider can or should do to circumvent these legal protections.

So I go to get a refund on my subscription

The service doesn't work with Firefox. How can that be?

So I use a different browser.

I get to the refund page. They are asking for the Credit Card Transaction Number

What the f*%$.

BTW, the VPN doesnt work either. It doesn't allow me into any financial institution

This is the worst

Update

No Solution, and the "Advanced" Service team never contacted me like they said they would

Totall BS customer service and I will be asking for my money back

Another user got a resolution from Norton Support for this same error. See this post.   https://community.norton.com/en/comment/8513426#comment-8513426

I keep getting the same error message. Norton knows this is a known problem and every time I contact Chat they want to get inside your computer which I will never allow. To be honest, I don't know whether this is purposely done just to get inside their customers computers. I have seen numerous same problems on the web and I noticed the moderator closed all the threads regarding this issue. I will just look for another virus company that has customer service in the US. No offense to outside contractors but I don't know how they are with security on customers accounts. Especially if they have animosity towards the US. I was also after 10pm at  night which is against the law in the US. But since Norton has no Customer Service in the US. We have no choice. I will also find another company that has a base in the US.
