I have been using torrents to download TV, old films, etc for as long as I have been using Norton, so twenty odd years.
I had uTorrent running when I went to bed last night. This morning, the Norton moron had wiped it from my system. It has happened before so I said here it could be reinstalled by turning off protection for 15 minutes. but Norton has stopped that so it has become more difficult, having to allow uTorrent access to the internet, etc.
So what is the story behind Norton's hatred of what we all know to be A SAFE PROGRAMME; torrents? Did some Hollywood studios give them big wads of money to stop torrents downloading their films, even if it meant Norton crapping on their subscribers? I can think of no other reason.
The same Norton that cannot be bothered with a Support system so has us help others. The same Norton that continually tries to make us buy extra products we once got for free?
