Well, I've used identity safe on my pc for quite a few years now and finally downloaded the app for my phone. Logged in as per my norton details... but when it goes onto the vault page, the password I have used on my pc will not work on the phone... password hint is asking for something completly different and I have no idea how to ammend it or remember.
Please help
Just to confirm, you have set up an Online vault from your PC?
Yes... at least I think so. I use firefox and each day I open up the vault with my password once I open up firefox.
When you go to log in from the PC do you see the log in screen below showing (Online)? If not, you need to move the vault online to be able to access it from your iPhone.
Post back if you need help moving the vault online.
So partially figured out the problem (thanks very much Peter for steering me in the right direction):
Transpires I at some point have already created an online vault password.... but I can't for the life of me remember what it is (even with the hint) so I'm a bit stuck since there doesn't seem to be an obvious option for resetting it?

The first thing you need to do is, using your PC, open your browser. Log into the Identity Safe. Click on the Vault Open button on the Norton toolbar and click Settings, then Export. This will take you to the Identity Safe data export feature. Save the data twice, once in .Dat format and once in .CSV format. Save these files in a place you can find later, preferably on a thumb drive.
Now log out of Identity safe. Click on the Vault Closed button and look for the Log In to your Norton Account as shown in my image in the previous post. Log into your Account, then be sure the log in box is showing you want to log into your Online vault, again as shown in my previous image. If you do not see that, there is a link just below the password box that says something like I want to log into my online vault. Click on that. Now try to enter your password, keep trying until you see a message to Reset Identity Safe . This will wipe out any existing password and log in information that was stored there. That is why we backed it up earlier. Follow the prompts to reset your vault.
Once the new vault is created, you can Import the logins we saved earlier.
Once you have recreated the online vault, you should be able to access it on your iPhone.
