I think it needs to be noted that a Local Vault still means your passwords are stored on the Cloud.
I asked this in Norton support:
I have a local vault. Where are my passwords stored
Reply: On the Cloud Server.
But wait I didn't want my private passwords for everything on a cloud server and expected them to be safe
on my local computer.
For that I got a spiel on the safety of their Cloud Server.
So why is it called a LOCAL VAULT. However you look at it...that is completely misleading.
Like Microsoft, Google and Apple....just TRUST US seems to be their answer to the pitfalls of the Cloud.
Ya right, in a pigs eye I TRUST anyone with MY PRIVATE information.
What I see is a STORMCLOUD that is becoming the new Virus. No information is going to remain private.
I expected MUCH better from Norton.
