Verifying Wordpress Site

I have a Wordpress site that I am trying to get verified. I loaded the file to the root directory. I have read the forums and tried to place the verification code in the proper place. I even uploaded a Wordpress plugin to add the code in the meta tags but nothing seems to work. It seems like others having the same problem and need someone from support to look at the site. Is there a simple way to confirm ownership of the site?

Hello tom17 and welcome!

 

I can see your meta tag placed in the head element of your home page.  However, I noticed a space near the the end of your tag.


Try removing the space so that ....xktyy51zj" />  becomes ....xktyy51zj"/>  and attempt verification again.


In the mean time, I'll notify the Safe Web team to check your code in case this does not solve your issue.

Hi Tom,

 

I can see that there is a typo error while you have registered your domain name in safeweb.norton.com. You have registered 'fasthealthyweighloss.info' instead of 'fasthealthyweightloss.info', can you please re-register your domain name?
