Having problems with Outlook receiving messages from Verizon. Just check my settings and it says the protected ports are POP3 110 and SMTP 25. My new Verizon port settings in Outlook are POP3 995 and SMTP 465. I tried to add these to the list of protected ports but it says that other programs are using them. Does this mean that my e-mail is not in fact protected? What can I do. I have tried changing my Outlook account settings to 110 and 25 and it cannot connect and receive messages, so that doesn't help.
This appears to be a growing problem with Outlook users and Norton.
I wish someone at Norton would address this issue!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
