I just read that Norton 360 version 20.3.0.36 just came out today. Is it compatible with Outlook 2013/Office 365, or do we still have to wait? If not, when?
I did read that, and it doesn´t say anything about compatibility with Outlook2013. However, it does say at the end "… and many more!". So I was hoping that it did add that capability. Probably not...

Just to chime in and Curious.
I also have Outlook 2013 x64bit and Norton 360.
What do you mean compatible with Outlook? It scans with firewall and real time scanning of files. So that works for me.
Outlook does the Anti-spam in the app. I stopped seeing Norton in Outlook since Outlook 2010 x64 was released and complain like you but realized there is no need since Outlook does the anti-spam.

Maxknux:
I am referring to the anti-spam feature inside Outlook.
I believe that Norton 360 hasn´t been compatible in some way with Outlook x64 for some time, including with Outlook 2010. However, it was compatible and did its anti-spam thing fine on Outlook 2010 x32.
Now we are on Outlook 2013/Office 360, and it is not doing its anti-spam thing, even on the 32-bit version of the application. That´s what I am compaining about. Outlook does have an anti-spam feature, but Norton has the "report spam" feature that I like. In any case, I do miss it, I paid for it, and I hope they will suport it soon. There a few threads here with the same complaint.
There is NO new update for this as of yet. I have been relentlessly waiting on this. As for the junk email filter it does not block suspected spam all the time. Norton Anti Spam does block some of this known stuff. As for Norton Anti Spam working in Outlook 2010 it worked perfectly fine for me. If it is not working for you using that verison of outlook then you should enable it in Norton and make sure that it is enabled in Outlook. You can do this by going into Outlook and clicking on File, then Options and look toward the bottom right and you will see the words "Add In". Click on that. If you see that Norton Ad in plugin located in the active plugins then it is enable. However if you look toward the bottom where it has the disabled plugins then it is not enable in Outlook. You can enable it by click at the bottom where it has the word "Manage" Comm Ad ins are selected then click "GO'. You will have a pop up and all you need to do is check the box and then click apply and click out of it and restart Outlook 2010. Be sure that it is enable in your Norton settings. Go to Settings, then click on Anti Spam and then click the tab that says "Client Intergration". Then select to turn on Anti Spam outlook.
Yes jlua001, N360/ NIS 20.3.0.36 will support x86 based version of outlook2013/Office 365.
Regarding the other replies and general confusion about which outlook clients are supported, N360/NIS has only partial support for the following clients:
Outlook 2010 x64
Outlook 2013/ 365 x64
Win Mail Vista (both x64 & x86)
Thunderbird
LiveMail
By partial support i mean: spam mails will be classified as spam and a "[Norton AntiSpam]" tag will be put in the mail's subject header. But these mails will not automatically be moved to the spam folder. Neither will norton antispam toolbar be available for these clients.
I hope this reply clarifies your confusion.
Nilesh_Agrawal:
If so, when will the Norton version that fully supports Outlook 2013 x32/Office 360 x32 come out?
Hi Jlua001
With N360/NIS 20.3.0.36 we fully support outlook 2013/ office 365 for both 32 bit and 64 bit operating systems. You can go ahead and download the update
Sorry for the confusion
Well, it would be nice if someone would post the link for the update or something. Leaving us out to dry is kind of odd. No pun intended but I have yet to see any update for this particular subject in regards to Outlook 2013.
Nilesh_Agrawal:
Norton LiveUpdate is not "seeing" this latest version. I tried re-downloading and re-installing Norton 360 from my Norton account web page, and it still is Ver. 20.2.1.22. You say that we can "go ahead and download it". From where?
jlua001, if you haven't already gotten updated to 20.3.0.36 using live update then please check this link, this will give information about the update including how to get the update manually.
