Thanks, I was over thinking here. I just know that AI is taking over everything and I am always cautious. The last thing I want is to be taken over by technology. I’m still waiting to see what happens with the pop ups before I install this latest version. I am one not to schedule scans, and everything is manual. Perhaps that is better with the new version. Will see.

All: The latest released version for Norton, is 26.9.11171 (build 26.9.11171.0). Build 26.10 of Avast would be their equivalent of a Norton EAP early adopter version which would NOT be a public release. Also, Avast and Norton are two separate software suites. Although having the core engine that is basically the same they have different ways of functionality for their features.
