Version 7.3 (111) - BLOCKS internet traffic

Hi

I am using v7.3 (111) on my MacBook Pro, Sierra 10.12.4 (16E154a) and Norton BLOCKS all traffic to and from the internet.

I removed the entire package using the removal tool provided by Symantec and reinstalled 7.3 (111) - downloaded from the support site.

Result: the SymDaemon runs like mad (easily eats up 90% of my CPU time) and doesn't stop.

Moreover, all internet traffic is being blocked. 

I tried to ForceQuit SymDaemon, which sometimes works, but only after a few attempts.

Unfortunately, after every reboot, the same annoying circus starts all over again.

Any solution?
