Which version of Norton Ghost are you using? What are the details of the image job…backup size, destination, etc.? Any additional information you can provide is appreciated.
Tony,
I have a similar problem using Ghost 8.3 to make an image of a Windows 2003 R2 server. I am trying to image a 149GB Raid 1system to a USB 300GB drive. I've upgraded to the most recent BIOS (A04). The process has been running for nearly 18 hours is only just now nearing completion. I suspect the image will be useless when I look at it whenever it gets done. Any ideas you have will be appreciated.
Thanks
Hi there Tony , I got no help on this matter , the only upside to this was that the image even though it did take forever it did work … One possibility is that as we seem both to be using old versions of Ghost im on 8 too and the latest version is 14 so it could be that these older versions cannot handle the newer storage devices.
