Video Buffering & Battery Drain

Issue abstract: very slow connection speeds with frequent buffering or even dropped connections. Rapid battery drain as well.

Detailed description:

  1. Whenever streaming, whether it be YouTube videos, podcasts, movies or any videos from the Internet, there is frequent buffering issues and/or freezing or even dropped connections. This only happens when I’m using the Norton VPN and does not happen to anyone else in my home who is not using Norton VPN.

  2. The other issue with using Norton VPN is that I see about a 30% increase in battery drain over the same period of time when not using VPN. Perhaps this is expected when using a VPN but it seems a bit extreme.

As for the buffering and dropped connections…Are you viewing the same sites as the others you say are not having the issues? Have you tried a different VPN virtual location?
