Virtual Drive

Hi all,

When I upgraded to Windows 7 Iost use of my CAD software, which would only run on XP.  The alleged upgrade of this software for W7 is nothing like the version I was using and I didn't relish learning it all over again for the limited use I make of it.  So, I installed XP on a virtual drive using Oracle VM VirtualBox.

Windows XP now loads OK and I can run the original CAD system.  The only concern I have is security.  XP as installed doesn't recognise any of my other software, especially Norton.  I don't plan to go on line via XP, nor even bother with the service packs, etc. as it seems to support the CAD system OK (I'll worry about printing later).  Are there any issues I should be concerned about?

Thanks,

Ian
