i have a virtual machine that i plan to test online, and I've configured a host only virtual net adapter to connect real computer and vm. The Vm's firewall (XP) has not yet acknowledged Norton on my computer (Host) as it has in the past experiments and test runs to see if i'm getting it right... but I;m wondering if there is a method of ENSURING that the virtual setup is ready and capable. My only indication ATM is that the virtual net adapter is on both VM and Host device list in a LAN configuration, and the Host is running a REALTEK adapter to the net, Usually at this point the XP Firewall offers a button that says another application is taking care of business and stops the usual red warnings etc, but I.m not sure if that is caused by the configuration alone or another tweak as well .. I've only connected once before in yhis manner, you see and I'm concerned I may have fluked it!
LOL so I'm here , to be sure, to be sure, to be sure
ANY experts here? Also want to know the ten ? "Thou shall nots" about VIRTUAL-LY everything if God is reading this
Regards to all
