Been getting bombarded by fake facebook emails with a virus in the attachment. Isn't Norton supposed to catch this type of thing and block the email?
Also, I couldn't find a link on Norton site to allow me to forward the infected email to a virus department. Does Norton have something like this?
From my google searches on fake facebook emails claiming a password request was made and having an attachment, I came across something called Bredolab as the name of the infection (i call it a virus but don't know all the different names for infections).
I fowarded one of them to aol abuse department then when tried to forward another one i got blocked from doing so, so then just deleted all of them and put a block filter for emails that have word facebook.
But, again doesn't internet security software pick up this stuff (Norton never notified me i just thought it weird that was getting these and never clicked on attachment) and is there a department to report incidents like these when infections are getting through so it can be "added" to the internet security software?
