Virus/Trojan detected and manufacturer says file is clean - how to verify

A file purchased from POPCAP, on download is fine.  When the install file is opened, there is a Trojan detected.   They insist that the file is clean and that I should turn off the detection while installing.

WS.Trojan.H is detected.

How can I verify that the problem is real?

What can be shown to the support people at PopCap to validate the problem or verify that the issue does not exist?

Full Path: c:\program files (x86)\popcap games\plants vs. zombies\popcapy.exe

Following the firewall report the Trojan is reported each time the install is tried.  The installed program will not run since the file is removed.  (as it should be)
