Vista 64-bit - Outbound Traffic

I have recently upgraded to Vista Ultimate 64bit And Norton will not allow programs outbound or let information inbound

I have tried everything stated below, and when Norton is turned off all programs work correctly, when Norton is turned back on all activity is blocked.

Firefox does not connect to the internet

Internet Explorer does not connect to the internet

Radio Player Gadget in Vista Sidebar does not connect to the internet

Weather Gadget in Vista Sidebar does not connect to the internet

Outlook does not update images in emails as it does not connect to the internet

It would appear that everything is being blocked. I have run a Norton Insight and some Microsoft programs are reported as not trusted

I have uninstalled reinstalled Norton three times and still nothing works. I have also Installed G Data internet Security and that works perfectly, I have now uninstalled this and am continuing to try and get Norton to work

My default browser is Internet Explorer and I have installed Firefox in the different folder which should be default c:\Program files\ (NOT C:\program files (x86)). As requested by Norton Help Desk

I have run Norton Insight and it is showing a number of Microsoft programs were reported as not trusted. I have loads of live updates also.

I have gone into settings and amended the Settings under Internet, Advanced Settings Under Smart Firewall to changed the Program Control section to allow both in and directional traffic, but nothing is still working

Any ideas
