Hello,
In reference to an earlier post by MommaDo from last year I am too having the same problem. Norton Antivirus (latest version) detects and removes vload.class but it seems to come back. I've been having problems lately with Internet Explorer 9 (beta) saying a corrupt file has changed my browser setting, it then says Windows will bring up the settings so that i can choose search providers, but problem still persists after doing such action if any action is needed to correct that problem. I play World of Warcraft, and now I can't connect to the news server as well, but can connect to the game just fine. My Adobe Reader 9 was corrupted as well, I installed Adobe X and so far no noticeable problems. When windows was attempting to back-up my hard drive to my external drive, my system message notifier kept saying that the back-up was not complete and needed to be corrected. I have since fixed that problem after figuring out it had something to do with my music folder. All my music is store bought, but ripped on my drives. I'm wonder if itunes is doing some kind of search for illegal material and installs this virus as an attempt to discourage illegal downloading??? (I don't have any shareware on my computer) This problem too has since been fixed as I just unselected the music folder being backed-up to my external drive and windows completed the function just fine. Norton Anti-virus says the location of the vload.class is located in my music folder but under a file name that has something to do with Sun Micosystems. Since I know that Sun Microsystems and Adobe Flash hate each other as they battle it out, I'm wondering if this virus is a result of their turf war?? Which would be highly unethically and illegal and I'm assuming this is not the case. Any case, the fact that this virus comes back annoys me a little and raises concern. Before the problems started happening, I had just recently installed a Blue Socket certificate that was needed for me to connect to my school server. The only other action I made that was not routine was installing a game site program (my roommate gave it to me and I can't remember the name of the program right now) that my roommate paid for which allows him to download games for free, w/advertising of course. Because of the advertising I have since uninstalled the program, but it left behind a program called Impulse Now in which I manually uninstalled through the windows uninstall program. It seems to be gone now. So these were the events that occurred leading up to my problem. I am interested in how this infected my computer and what I can do to remove it permanently. I know the nature of computer virus are random and unpredictable, but any insight you have on this matter would be appreciated.
Thank you for your time,
Chicago
