VPN and error code 0x800704cf

Hi,

Occasionally I get a windows error code 0x800704cf when I try to open my Outlook email account. 

I can resolve this by turning off Norton VPN .

How can I get the VPN to exclude my trusted Microsoft Outlook email account?

Thank you very much for that information. I have now excluded Outlook and will see if it works. Issue was interrmitant so may take a while before calling it a complete resolution. cheers, John
