VPN blocks windows back up

With VPN active, while trying to do automatic Windows backup it fails: "windows backup failed to get an exclusive lock on the efi system partition"

Try to do a manual backup and get the same result.

When I disable VPN and do a manual back up it works fine.

Is there a way to have Norton allow Windows backup to complete it's process successfully automatically?

I can do this manually every week but it annoys me that it won't work automatically

I am aware of the Split Tunnel function. I just don't know the file info to enter here.

If you can find the exe file for the backup, you can add it to the exclusions for the Split Tunnel feature of the VPN in 360. From the My Norton interface in 360, click on the down arrow beside Turn On for the VPN, then click on Settings. Then click on Split Tunnel and add the backup exe file to the exclusion list.
