VPN Connection issues with Norton 360 V4 on Vista

I am having trouble connecting to my University VPN server. I have Windows Vista and currently am running Norton 360 V4. Any suggessions? Tried switching off the smart firewall with no success

Can you turn off the Stealth Blocked Ports from Firewall settings and check whether you can connect?


If the problem persists, try disabling the Auto-Protect also.

I was able to connect before I updated to Ver 4. I am using Microsoft VPN Client. Have tred switching off the smart firewall and stealth blocked ports with no luck .Also used the IP address of the university to allow all traffic-still no luck
