The automatic deselection of the Norton VPN when a bit torrent application is executed defeats the purpose of a VPN. In addition, when the VPN is deselected, it does so in the dark, without alerting the user visually or audibly. This "hidden failure" needs to be corrected by adding a user selected alarm feature to Norton VPN.
Also the Norton VPN needs to function when bit torrent applications are running, and a user selectable switch be added to give the user the ability to bypass the Norton VPN should it inhibit file transfers.
But as Norton VPN exists in its current state it is a substandard product that will drive users away to competing services.
