I have a new M1 mini with Norton and had VPN working, now the Norton VPN on my M1 does not work. I have a Mac Laptop and my Norton VPN works on that with the same home network. In addition both family smart phones connect on the Norton VPN on the same home network, one phone is iOS the other Android . Both of my Macs have the new Big Sur OS installed. I cannot find any information to resolve this issue either outside search engines or within Norton. What do I need to do? Is this an M1 device issue or a Norton issue?
I noticed the same issue on my M1 Mac Mini, but it works fine on my on my Intel Mac Pro. The issue is the Norton Firewall, at least on my system. If I disable the Vulnerability Protection everything works. I need to disable both Connection Blocking and Vulnerability Protection to get the include Norton VPN to work. There is something definitely causing issues here with the firewall.
