VPN Split tunnelling not working

VPN split tunnelling in Norton 360 Premium not appearing to work

I have added the path to Outlook.exe in the VPN split tunnelling exceptions list and I still cannot sent email via SMTP port 1025. I keep receiving a popup requesting my email password. When I disconnect VPN, the email sends fine.

26.1.10738 (build 26.1.10738.964)

OS details:Windows 11 Pro

Port 25 is the default for most SMTP mail. Port 1025 is used to bypass ISP restrictions in some cases. Are using Outlook 365 or another personal version of Outlook? Is the VPN location set for the country you are living in?

I changed SMTP port to 465 as requested by my mail provider and that seems to working with the split tunnel .
