VPN to Australia Very Slow

Hi:

I am experiencing very slow through puts when connecting our VPN to Australia. My internet connection is fine, very fast.

I specifically need to connect to Australia for an application that I have to use.

does anyone have any suggestions ?

It gets very slow, in the Kbps, with drops.

I installed another VPN to compare and its fine. I'm not sure how routing could come into play once the tunnel is established

Where are you connecting from?

How much slower is your connection to Australia than other VPN regions you use? I just tested and my speed went from 170 Mbps from Canada to 67 Mbps for an Australian connection. Maybe something to do with the routing of your data to the Australian VPN that is causing extra overhead????
