I am using Firefox 17.0 and NIS 20.2.0.19 (Windows 7 Home Premium, SP1, 64-bit) Starting yesterday, when I try to log in to Ebay or PayPal, Firefox will freeze (shows “not responding”) If I close Firefox I get the windows box saying something like “end now, or wait for program to respond”. The nasty thing is when I end Firefox it will not start again (i.e. nothing happens when I click the icon for Firefox). I have to restart the computer to get the browser running again. After messing around all day yesterday, I find that if I disable the Firefox add-on “Norton Vulnerability Protection” then everything is working fine. Looking at this site, it seems that the Vulnerability Protection add-on was updated yesterday, which is a suspicious coincidence ! (my add-on version is 11.1.1.5-3) Any help or comments would be appreciated. Dave.
