Vulnerable drivers

I have Norton 360 for Windows. I still have Windows 10. I keep seeing messages about vulnerable drivers. I get another message asking me to purchase an additional Norton product. Is this legitimate? Wouldn’t Norton 360 protect against the security risk of vulnerable drivers with Windows 10?

What you are seeing is the affect of the Norton Marketing department running the show these days. They have hard coded these upsell messages in their products. They are ‘legitimate’ as far as being from Norton.

For this example of driver update warnings, your are better served to ignore those ‘suggestions’ and just use Windows Updates and your computer’s manufacturer website for your drivers.
