Vundo

I downloaded a file. It was a keygen, a working one as a matter of fact, and I submitted it to Symantec Security Response. Their automated scanner found it to be Trojan.Vundo. I downloaded the RapidRelease definitions, scanned my system, and sure enough I found 2 instances of Trojan.Vundo.

If you go here:

You will find that the latest Daily Certified version was released on Oct. 15, the day I recieved the RapidRelease defs!

Keep up the good work Symantec!

One more thing. How come your automated virus scanner found Vundo while my NIS09 did not detect it, even when executed? And When does SONAR kick in?
