Want to shut down the computer but I can't

Hi everybody. I hope you somebody can help me fix this little problem that I have with this program.
 The problem is that I wish the computer would shut down after that my child's time is done or out of time. I looked everywhere and I can't find it. I like the idea of having a couple of minutes to save but my child keeps logging on again and again even if it says your time is done. I would like the whole computer to shut down that way, she has to go through restarting the computer and bla bla bla. I hope somebody can help me out. Thank you every much for your time :)
