Wants to reinstall after its being reinstalled

HI I've been running NOrton Family online for some time with no problems. A program pop-up said that I was running an older version and that I should reinstall, which I did, all looked fine until I was on the Settings tab and clicked the Time tab, the pop-up saying I had an older version and to reinstall. Im going around in a loop now cause when I reinstall and get back to setting time usage I get the reinstall pop-up again. I completely unstalled the program and rebooted and then reinstalled again hoping this might fix this cyclic problem. It didn't, each time I go to Setting and hit the time tab up comes pop-up.

I cannot change time usage etc because I cannot do anything else with the reinstall pop-up.

Im running Norton Safety Minder Version 2.0.0.42.    Norton Online Framework Version 2.0.0.66.  A

Also running Norton 360

Using Windows XP/2 , I.E.,

Cheers

I've been having the same problem!  Would love to know what the answer is.

I am also having the exact same problem.

I'm stuck in the same loop also. At work trying to adjust my kids time and can't get into the settings to make the change.

Thanks for the posts.  It's a known issue and the QA and development team are working on it actively.  Below is a workaround for the issue.

If you see the message as shown in the screen shot on the Settings –> Time screen after you download the latest Norton Safety Minder, please do the following to continue to use the program.

Go to Settings -> Profile and click on the “Remove computer” link for the PC (in this case, the PC name is “Support PC”).

Has anyone who has seen this issue noticed any failures during the upgrade process on your child's computer?

For example, were there any error dialogs that required a forced end task of ccSvcHst before the restart and after the Norton Online Family installer detected a previous version installed?

Thanks.
