I-YOGI PC DIAGNOSTICS:.....WARNING!!
08/11/15 - I RESPONDED TO A POP-UP asking to be notified for Win10 availability; now using Win 7, IE9. A large popup appeared on screen as if it was from NORTON identifying a problem. I did not have time to explore problem on this date.
08/12/15 - Ran the Microsoft Win7 monthly update and saw WIN 10 now available for install but chose to install Win10 as wish to do a later date. A large pop-up again appeared on screen as if it was a notice from NORTON 360 identifying a problem, same problem as viewed the day before. I lacked sufficient time to proceed resolving problem.
08/13/15 - Logged on today. Again the large pop-up appeared on my home screen "as if it was a notice from NORTON 360" identifying a problem. I attempted to access but the end result is my PC turned itself OFF!!.Now is this not appropriate.....A logical problem for malware/spyware to disconnect a PC to encourage a USER TO DIAL FOR SUPPORT! I dialed the tele # I had used on previous occasion to contact Norton 360 support: 877-458-3846; NOTE: This telephone number had already been programmed into my mobile phone; it was definitely not a number that I sought on-line today.. Now it appears this telephone is now evidently a" I-YOGI telephone number".
WHAT AN INTERESTING TURN OF EVENTS!
I provided access to my Desktop for fix with support person using "I-YOGI PC DIAGNOSTICS" which was new to me!. Then I was presented with the rates it would costs to repair PC: 1 yr - fix all issues + 12 mos = $120; 5 yr - fix all issues = $360.
UPON HEARING THESE QUOTES, I QUICKLY HUNG UP & LOGGED OF THE PC DESKTOP.
