Suddenly today many things on my Norton went kaflooey after a sudden power outage. Identity Safe no longer worked, but I managed to figure out how to fix that one. What I'm left with is a system constantly giving the "red X" and telling me I need to run the virus scanner no matter how times I run it and it says I'm clean. Have run LiveUpdate multiple times and been told I'm up to date. Rebooted after all this and still get the big "red X" telling me my computer needs to be scan for viruses and spyware. How do I ensure that I'm really up to date on virus scanning?
