Need a lil help please...
There is a website called Webalta.ru and it hijacks your browser, downloads various unwanted trojans and creates havok with your machine in general.
Norton software does not warn about this site but it does pick up on some of the rootkit infections.
(If any Norton Techies are reading include a patch to stop browsers opening this website)
I have a problem with the browser hijacking side of this website, it replaces the home page with Webalta.ru home page and no matter what steps you take it will always take you back to it, if you google the problems with this website there are lots of people struggling with it - noone has a defenitive solution, has anyone any ideas how to clear a homepage hijack , the standard option config does not do anything it doesnt even show up in the homepage settings.
Im using the latest Norton Internet Security with Windows 8 and the browser is Explorer.
