Web browsing completely blocked

Right after I installed the safetyminder.exe, all web browsing was blocked for all users of the computer, even those who did not have a profile associated. 

 

I could still ping internet addresses by number and by name, but when I try to browse the internet I only get blank pages.  No error messages

I do not see any error messages in  the event logs.

 

 

I have tried stopping the Norton Service and disabling it, but even then I cannot browse the internet.  

As soon as I uninstall it the problem goes away.

 

I am using XP Media Center SP3.  There are 4 accounts on the computer but I only need one of them monitored.

I have Trend Micro  WFBS 5.0 running on the computer.

This seems to be a good product.  I look forward to seeing how it works over the next several weeks.
