Howdy,
I just ran a scan with NIS 2009 with updated virus definitions. There was one hit for a cookie and it was resolved.
Without going on the internet after the NIS 2009 scan, I ran a scan with Web Root with updated virus definitions.
From the Web Root scan, I got
- about cookie, which sounds generic
- atwola cookie
- double click cookie
- trojan.gen, which sounds like a generic trojan
- App/killit-A, which is supposed to be a hack tool
All items were quarantined by Web Root.
What gives? Am I misreading something? Or is Web Root working better than Norton?
Thanks,
BTU
