I keep getting warning message for my child's phone that they visited some site when clearly they did not and the phone was with me not my child.
It happens every day at almost the same time for the same site squalidscrew.com -- this site is not eve registered.
Why would this be happening, the account hacked or is my child's phone hacked ?
Any ideas?
Thanks
Hi Jawahar,
Thank you for reaching out to Norton Family forum. On analysing our backend, we could see that the warning notification is triggered for various domains such as squalidscrew.com, claritaspod.com, snapwidget.com, ingeniousplus.ca from the child’s device at different instances.
Norton Family on iOS uses an on-device server-less VPN to monitor the child's online activities on the device. So, any website visits or requests(even from other applications) will be monitored and based on the House Rules that you have set, it will be blocked or allowed(with warning). This includes the requests from browser apps or any other application(including the apps running in background) from the device .
Since you have mentioned that the site squalidscrew.com was not visited, it might have been triggered by other applications in device. Kindly check for the applications running(including the ones in background) in your Child's device at the time notification was received.
Thanks,
Norton Family Team
