Website warning

I just received a notice about a "remote connection" something or other and when I attempted to find out what they were referring to it took me to solutions about how to fix a problem.  How can I fix a problem when I don't know what it is???????????????  I really am frustrated by all of the "notices" which only take me to solutions that need to be purchased!!!  I am a senior citizen on a very limited budget.  I have been a Norton supporter for many, many years, defending the security and service, but this is getting ridiculous if I can't rely on the product I pay for to provide that security!!!!!!!!!!!
