I have the following setup (2 different PC's, both with the problem):
Dell Inspiron N7110 Core i7 Laptop
Win7 x64 Home Premium with latest updates
Norton Security Suite 21.6.0.32 from Comcast
Dell XPS 8500 Core i7 Desktop
Win7 x64 Home Premium with latest updates

When I play a video or sound file, either with a browser (latest versions of IE, Chrome or Firefox playing a Youtube video, etc.) or iTunes or VLC Media Player I get this problem about every minute or so and it lasts for about 1/2 sec. The music or video will pause with a weird stuttering or vibrating sound. Then it picks up where it stopped and continues for another minute or so. This never happened on either PC until I installed Norton. Now it happens on both PC's every time.
How can I get Norton to back off on media playback so that it happens smoothly?
