Last night around 11pm US Central time, I tried to check on the symantec website to see what the current NAV/NIS virus defs were
I went to symantec.com. Clicked on the Norton tab. Then went to viruses and risks. then clicked on virus definitions
The page opened but only the header that showed the tabs NortonBusinessPartners and so forth and then the subtabs under Norton ( welcome, Products & Services, Virus & Riska, etc) But there was no content on the page beow the headers when I clicked virus defs. I was able to access the forums and other parts of the website
So was there a problem with the website for a few moments that caused content to NOT be displayed?
I was NOT trying to download Virus Defs, just trying to see what the latest def date was.
Concerned that the inability to view content could be a virus on my end? Although I doubt that as I have been able to update this morning to virus def version 2010.03.31.048, I was able to run a full Norton scan and update and run a malwarebytes scan
So I really don't think it was my computer, but just wanting to check and see if there were website problems for a few moments last night.
