I was rather quite dismayed to say the least, when NIS was unable to prevent a recent malicious attack on my computer called:
This so called ransomware, wanted to extort $300 from me to unlock my computer. Even more surprising, is that this virus is nowhere to be found or mentioned on the Norton site, even though many victims have reported it lately. NIS even confirmed the file as harmless when it was scanned. It would be most hepful if NIS could include a defense update for this type of insidious malware.
