Given
(1) the announcement from Microsoft earlier this week that every version of Internet Explorer is currently at risk,
(2) that it may be a while before a patch is produced and
(3) that most 'average' PC-users won't be able to implement some of the suggestions from MS and others for short-term security improvements,
would contributors like to tell us their preferred alternatives e.g. Chrome so that members like myself can finally make the jump away from IE.
