Then after I did a supposed norton fix I got:

Norton Internet Security 20.1.1.2 Windows 7 Home Premium 7601.17944.amd64fre.win7sp1_gdr.120830-0333 Norton Autofix Results: 1 item(s) Installation :: Success

Funny thing this machine is an Intel I3   not an AMD so why would the file include amd in it!

The ccsvchst.exe file is automatically added to your computer upon installing the Norton software, and it is referred to as the Symantec Service Framework. The ccsvchst.exe file works to display the GUI (Graphical User Interface) of Norton products, which usually include the Norton Security Suites.

Just out of curiousity, does the system have AMD video built into the mainboard or an installed AMD/ATI based graphics card?

The ...amd64fre... file is a Microsoft file, part of every Windows installation.
