What does the file "HotFix1.exe" do that was installed on 1/9/23?

A "HotFix" means it's a quick temporary solution to some problem.

The file is found in this path:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Norton AntiVirus\Engine\22.22.11.12\HotfixStage\HotFix1.exe

So what does this file do?

It looks like this was an automatic live update failure.

I just noticed that Norton 360 was not fully booting up - probably a live update failed and it was like this for the last few days.

I did a manual live update, and rebooted, and now norton 360 fully boots up and that file is no longer being run.
