I recently upgraded from Norton Internet Security 2009 to the 2010 version. I was very happy with the way the smart firewall worked - every time a new program tried to access the internet, I got a popup asking me what to do: "allow always", "block always", "allow this instance", "block this instance". This was perfect! Some programs could go whenever they wanted, some could never go at all, and some I had ask me every time.
After the upgrade, the default mode was allowing access to pretty much everything. I managed to change this by disabling the automatic program control, but the only options I have now are "allow always" and "block this instance".
How can I get the "ask every time" option back? If I can't, how can I revert to 2009?
