Sounds as though you have been upgraded to V24.xx, this is more than an upgrade - it has been rebuilt from the ground up, quite a few of the old features have disappeared, some features can no longer be turned off. If, when opening Norton this is what you get, (Home Page) you have been updated to 24.xx - masses of problems reported on forum.
And the problem is Norton doesn’t care about its subscribers. It pushes changes that nobody wants. Keep it simple. I will be looking into other antivirus software. Norton has lost another customer. Hope they realize sometimes change isn’t what customers want. I know even with all the complaints about its newer version Norton will push it through anyway regardless of how we feel about their useless changes.
